The question of when we will be gathering together again has been the subject of much prayer and discussion by our church’s leadership. We are asking God for wisdom as we attempt to follow the guidelines of New York State and New York City regarding the timing for reopening our church campus. At the same time, we are making plans and putting protocols in place to ensure your safety and well-being when we are able to meet again. Beyond What We Can Imagine

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…” (Ephesians 3:20 NIV)

Sometimes we quote the verse that says that God is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we can ask or even imagine, and we think that it has to do with, perhaps, praying for a job and then getting, not only a job, but one with a huge, unexpected salary; or a person needing to pay bills and God providing for the person beyond the amount of the bills.  Yes, God is able to do all that, but the Scripture verse above has to do with a lot more.  The Apostle Paul was speaking about having power in our inner being beyond what we could ask or think—power to have victory over besetting sin and discouragement; boldness to share Jesus; joy unspeakable and full of glory; the love of God in our hearts to give, share, and reach out to others. 

In the Bible, God took ordinary people and did extraordinary things, because “it’s not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord.”  He wants to do the same with us.  God wants to reveal to this world a people who love like Jesus, live like Jesus, step out in Jesus’ name, dare to pray things over people in Jesus’ name.  

If you’re a Christian, he is already dwelling in you.  Ask him to strengthen you in your innermost being though his Spirit, and you will be able to experience miracle-living every day of your life.
