Yes, we are now accepting donations of Bitcoin and 39 other cryptocurrencies through Pushpay.

Please click here (https://pushpay.com/g/brooklyntabernacle) and select Cryptocurrency under “How would you like to give?”

Donating cryptocurrency is tax-deductible and treated as a non-cash contribution by the IRS. Once you have submitted your donation online, you will receive an IRS compliant contribution receipt for all cryptocurrency gifts. The process is fast and extremely secure.

Yes, all donors will receive a single year-end giving statement which includes all monetary donations, whether they were made through SecureGive, Pushpay, Cash, or Check.

We greatly appreciate all donations, but Pushpay donations from bank accounts and debit cards carry the lowest transaction fees.

Yes, Pushpay’s online help center is located at help.pushpay.com. You may also call them directly at (844) 787-4729, option 1; or email them at [email protected].

How do I give from my smartphone?2022-01-04T23:13:18-05:00

You can use the BT App (click HERE!) or you can use text giving:

    1. Text “BTGIVE” to 77977 to generate a link that takes you to Pushpay’s giving page, or
    2. Text “BTGIVE” and the gift amount (ex. BTGIVE 25) to activate “text giving,” which means you can give future gifts by simply texting the gift amount to 77977.

Yes, international donors may give one-time gifts here.  International donors are not required to log in or provide their phone numbers.

Can I donate stocks or other types of assets?2022-10-03T13:02:59-04:00

Yes, you can donate appreciated stock and other types of property directly to the church. In fact, there is usually a greater tax benefit than if you had sold the stock/property and then donated the cash.

After making the stock donation, please contact us at [email protected] or 718-290-2237 so that we can thank you and send your donation letter in a timely manner.

Please note that it generally takes several business days for the transfer to occur and be recognized as a gift.
