Ron and Edna Juran serve a diverse range of ministries in Belize, including several churches, a pregnancy center, and a drug rehab halfway house.

Serving the Lord in world missions has been the calling on Ron's and Edna's lives.  Between them, they have been involved in short-term missions for over 30 years and have served as Missions Ministry leaders for several years.  During this time, they felt the Lord calling them to move to Belize, Central America, where Ron had first visited on a mission many years ago and subsequently purchased a home. They have retired from their professions, sold their home in Brooklyn and moved to Belize full time to work alongside local churches and ministries as encouragers and leaders in their community.

Ron and Edna serve in leadership or as volunteers in a diverse range of ministries in Belize, such as Mount Hope Church, Hope for Life (pregnancy center), Freedom House (drug halfway house for men) and Step of Faith Church.  At the same time, they have a heart to serve other missionaries around the world by utilizing their unique skills – Ron has a carpentry and civil engineering background and Edna is a dental hygienist.  During their travels to various locations around the world as part of short-term mission teams, and while hosting missionaries upon their return to the States, Ron and Edna saw the value in coming alongside missionaries as co-laborers.  Ron has helped lead various construction and water projects, and Edna has helped lead dental clinics that The Brooklyn Tabernacle has conducted worldwide.  Their goal is to travel to various mission sites for months at a time and offer their skills to augment the work of existing missions.  In addition to the practical community ministry help, they also will help in discipleship, teaching, mentoring, and any other areas of need for the local ministries.

The apostle Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."  That is the heart of their ministry.
