Ask God for Direction

Thursday, September 21, 2017

“After this, David asked the Lord, ‘Shall I go and take control of one of the towns of Judah?’ ‘Yes,’ the Lord answered. ‘Which one?’ David asked. ‘Hebron,’ the Lord said.” (2 Samuel 2:1 GNT)

Don’t be so fast today in making decisions.  Ask God for his direction.  Remember that Jesus has a plan for your life, and it involves even the smaller issues upon which we make choices.  He is all-wise and knows the future consequences of our decisions.  Let’s ask him to guide us as he did King David centuries ago.  He loves you and wants the privilege of guiding your steps this very day.  Believe it!

Read 2 Samuel 2:1-7.
