The Fellowship of Believers
“Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer.” (Hebrews 10:25 GNT)
Nothing would be more unnatural than that the children of a family should always meet their father separately and never in the united expression of their desires or their love. It is the union and fellowship of believers in which the Spirit can manifest his full power.
-Andrew Murray (excerpted from the devotional book God’s Power for Today)
On the day of Pentecost, all the believers were gathered together in one accord, and there was a mighty move of God that day. Let’s believe the same for the body of Christ today.
